Dr. Jean Gong

Dr. Gong could not ask for a more rewarding or enjoyable career than being an orthodontist.  She enjoys getting to know her patients and seeing the positive changes that orthodontics provides.  A healthy bite leads to a beautiful smile.  Dr. Gong has extensive experience treating many types of skeletal and dental problems and has successfully treated thousands of patients with braces and Invisalign.  Dr. Gong is also highly experienced in surgical orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Gong received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston and graduated with honors — cum laude.  Afterwards, she completed her orthodontic specialty training from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York, where she served as the class president.

As part of Dr. Gong’s continuing orthodontic education, she attends national orthodontic conventions every year to keep up with the latest advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Association. Dr. Gong is also a member of the Columbia Orthodontic Alumni Society where she served as the past president.

Dr. Gong is married to an orthodontist and has two children.  She enjoys cooking, traveling, and photography.
